Trapped in love and hate

Written By Lungi Shigo Msusa

Who are you to tell me what to do;
I do me, no one knows my dos and don’ts
I’m the first fresh dew in the morning
I’m the morning sun in Spring break
I’m out every morning to fetch first bread
I’m my own woman in the mist of danger
Life is so broken everyone is for self
Even marriages are one way streets
I’m barefoot like my neighbor thinking about my next victim of hate crime, why?
I’m down on my knees praying evil
Everyone is possessed with self hate
Love would never leave us alone,
I’m sure in my heart love never anticipated this betrayal in human faith history
Losing self love the world was found wanting
