Why can’t we choose people

the way they chose us of

all those billions of

people there’s only one for us.

People are meant to come and go while

ohers are meant to stay you love them,

do not want to go don’t

do things to push them away.

Feelings are fragile so be

careful you tiptoe everyday,

caring your way one mistake and

all you’ll be done your effort futile,

dead and gone.

But with one’s true love,

all is golden at times too

strong once beholden each and

every word is a promise deep

in the heart sealed with a kiss.
