I write your name on this sand
You are a sailer I’m a loving heart
I’m calling it out as I write with love from a pure heart for the sea gods to hear
Your name will sail to their ears
They’ll be with you and bring
you back to me my love
They’ll know you have a loving heart
waiting for you back home
I write your name on this sand
You are part of something special
I write your name on this sand
Please come back to me
our story is still new
There’s no full stop but only comas
The dog don’t buck anymore,
the waiting is lonesome,
the sunshine is gone,
winter is closing in
Love is losing it’s sweet moments
Knock on my door you’ll be answered
Positive dreams build love so strong
You set sail to your other love mine is
losing hours looking at the old clock
I’m more in love with you now but the
stories and your love for the sea are
weighing heavy on my knees I can’t fly
Absence makes the heart grow wings
But mine are holding on to the soon come
Come back to me love most
of the fishing boats have docked
I’ve stopped listening to the stories
I just want us to finish ours
