My Rain Son

-Basudha De

My rain son

So cool and so wine

When feels hot

Pours heavily

When feels hungry

Trembles the sky in sounds

When feels angry

Bursts into thunder

When feels frightened

Creates daybreak cyclones somewhere

When scolded by mother

Cries for weeks and months making floods

When feels shy

He drizzles

When feels happy

Rains in the sunlight

When feels cool

Rains in dawn skies

When feels naughty to do

Rains with hailstorms

When feels shocked

Makes the sky darker

When feels amazed

Lights the sky with drizzles

When feels astonished

Makes slowmoving black mountains to arrive

When feels scolded by father

Rains thunder in black mountains night sky

For this reason he is

My rain son

So cool and so wine
